Domino Park is a 5-acre public park in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It spans a quarter mile along the East River near the Williamsburg Bridge, at the Domino Sugar Refinery site.
The park has a beautiful mix of urban and scenic views, including the Williamsburg Bridge and Downtown Manhattan. With lots of people, elevated walkways, playgrounds, grassy areas and fountains and salvaged factory equipment displayed (including 4 syrup collection tanks), it’s a great place to find sketching inspiration.
MEETING SPOT, LUNCH, AND SHOW & TELL: Domino Square - 15 River St, Brooklyn, NY
NOTES: There are lots of benches and places to sit, but feel free to bring a stool for more sketching options. Anticipate sun and temperatures to be 60° or higher, so bring a hat and dress accordingly. Food, water and bathrooms are all available in the park.
