Columbus Circle is a key landmark and bustling intersection, that stands between the entranceway of the most famous park in the world and a swanky shopping mall. Whether you choose to sketch architecture, nature, people, monuments, or the sweeping skyline views, there’s something to sketch for everyone.
Getting there: 1, A, or D subway to 59th Street/Columbus Circle.
Restrooms: Public restrooms are located on the 2nd floor of The Shops at Columbus Circle mall. To access them, take the escalator up to the 2nd floor and hollow the hallway past the elevators on the left. There’s also a bathroom in Whole Foods in the lower level of the mall, behind the cashiers in the food court.
Show & Tell: 3 PM. On the 3rd Floor of The Shops at Columbus Circle mall, we’ll gather in a quiet corner there, in an unoccupied storefront just below Shake Shack.
