Saturday 12/6/25: Weekend Sketchers at Pier 57

 

Please note the later start time. The food stands open at 11:30, although you can enter the space earlier.  


Originally built in 1907 as a shipping and storage terminal, Pier 57 offers public spaces, community events, art, culture, nature, and a James Beard Foundation curated food hall. In addition to sketching the food hall, Pier 57 also has large windows facing the Little Island, views of the skyline, other piers, boats, etc. As a bonus the website also lists the event: Holiday music with Skyline Bones on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Time: Sketching 11:30am-3pm | Show and Tell beginning at 3pm. 

Location: 25 11th Avenue @ 15th Street, NY, NY. It’s the Pier on the water side of the West Side Highway btwn 14th-15th St, one pier north of The Little Island.


Meeting spot:  The “Public Living Room” area of the pier- Walk past City Winery and through the Market 57 Food Hall and about halfway to the end of the pier on the left you will see a large seating area.

Show and Tell location: The Public Living Room. Check with the host day-of for the exact show-and-tell location. 


Seating:  There is seating and food. A stool gives you more options.

Food, drink, restrooms: There are restrooms and plenty of food options in the food hall.
