Located in Flushing Meadow Park, the site of two World Fairs, this location will afford us both indoor and outdoor sketch locations. Indoors the architecture and the displays will intrigue you. (make sure to see the famous panorama featuring every building in the city). Outdoors, capture the iconic Unisphere, that was the signature piece of the 1963-64 World’s Fair.

TRANSPORTATION:You can travel by subway or car. If using the subway be aware that there will be a 15 minute walk from the Willets Point stop to the museum. If traveling by car, there is free limited parking available.
Take #7 Train in the direction of Flushing, Queens. Your stop is Mets-Willets Point, the second to last stop on the 7 train. When you exit the train at Mets-Willets Point, you can walk down the boardwalk towards Flushing Meadows Corona Park. You will see a large circular space at the entrance into the park. Stay to the right and walk down a long path with trees, the tennis courts will be on your right side. You will notice a large globe called the Unisphere. The Museum is just past the Unisphere.
