SUNDAY: Sketch the RUBIN

SUNDAY:  December 16, 2018

The Rubin Museum of Art is a museum dedicated to the collection, display, and preservation of the art and cultures of the Himalayas, India and neighboring regions, with a permanent collection focused particularly on Tibetan art.

This surprisingly large beautifully designed museum is a real NYC treasure.  Each item on display tells a story, and was lovingly collected and beautifully displayed. The Rubin Museum reminds us that artistic expression is part of what it means to be a human, a message the resonates for Urban Sketchers.
