Weekday Sketchers on Little Island
Can you imagine being able to build an island in the Hudson River and then load it up with beautiful trees, paths, an amphitheater. an outdoor food court, fun things to do, like a keyboard built into the floor and optical illusions spinning in space. Well you don't have to imagine it. It is here!
Join us this week as we explore the newest piece of real estate in NYC. Come to Little Island and spend the day experiencing this most unusual place, its landscaping and all the people coming and going up and down the hills and trails.
NOTES
- Little Island is at the western end of 14th Street near the Whitney Museum.
- Entrance is free and unrestricted before noon. If you come after noon you must make a reservation on line.
- There are bathrooms and a food concession on the island but you can bring your own lunch and drinks.
- Bring a stool as there are some but not many benches.
