Saturday, Oct 4: Sketch the Battery Park Esplanade

There are a plethora of palette-pleasing views in this active, yet tranquil setting: draw the Hudson River, Jersey City, the tree-lined park, the yachts, or the scores of people enjoying the weekend

Meeting Spot:  At the Pylons column sculptures created by Martin Puryear, situated between the ferry dock and the North Cove Harbor, near the Winter Garden

Seating: Lots in the vicinity, in case you’d like to leave your stools at home

Food and drink: Many options available within the Brookfield Mall and from outside food trucks

Bathrooms: Inside the Brookfield Mall

Transportation: Any train to Fulton Street (1,2,3,4,5,A,C,E,J,Z,R,W) that gives you access to the oculus and World Trade Center Concourse. Just walk that path to the escalators into Brookfield Place

Show and Tell: By the Pylons at 3 pm

In case it rains: We’ll just go indoors to the Brookfield Mall and sketch the beauty within the building
