If you ever thought of capturing the sunset in your sketchbook but hesitated to go out to sketch in the evening this special pop-up event is for you. Join Kristin Zimmerman at Wagner Park at the southern tip of Manhattan to quickly sketch the setting sun over the Statue of Liberty or the Jersey City Skyline. The newly designed park offers multiple viewpoints. Seating is available but bringing a stool for more options.
Sunset is at 7:04 PM. The light will be changing quickly so be prepared to work fast. There are some overhead lights. Bring a headlamp, flashlight or booklight to work as it gets dark. We will have a throwdown at 8:00.
