Thomas Paine, American Revolutionary, Founding Father and Author of “Common Sense” lived in this charming home from 1802 to 1806. Built as a modest saltbox house, it was saved from demolition in 1908 by the Huguenot and New Rochelle Historical Association and opened as a museum on July 14,1910.
We will start with a docent tour at 12 pm that will include points of interest on the grounds and the one room schoolhouse. All exhibit rooms will be available for us to set up in. Lunch can be had at the picnic tables on the grounds or inside the schoolhouse. There is also a kitchen where a microwave and refrigerator are available for our use.

From NYC: From Grand Central Terminal, take the Metro-North New Haven Line to New Rochelle Station. If you need a ride from the station, please contact Marianne at (914) 355-6507. Taxi service is also available.
LUNCH: Since this event begins with the tour at noon, lunch will be on your own.

Admission: Seniors $8, others $10.
