SATURDAY: Sketch the Hidden Grotto

There is a hidden grotto
in Central Park

Our destination is a series of connecting waterways that traverses the north end of Central Park. This lesser known area of the park, known as The Ravine, consists of The Pool, The Glen Span Arch and the Loch going through the Huddleston Arch (made from huge stones without any mortar) and eventually leads into the Harlem Meer.
(Yes, this event is the mirror image of last week's sketch on the opposite side of Central Park)

The Park itself is a work of art and this portion includes a wild but artistically perfect view of nature with a bit of the urban skyline thrown in.
