SATURDAY: Sketch the Tulips

It's the Upper West Side Annual Tulip Festival

What fantastic weather we've had this Tuesday and Wednesday.  We've got a new site to visit - many thanks, once again to Shawne for another great suggestion.

The headline reads:   15,000 Tulips Will Takeover Manhattan’s West Side This April!  Who could resist?

15,000 tulips will bloom across the garden for an unforgettable floral festival you can’t miss. It will kick off on April 13 and run through early May. The month-long event is entirely free and open to the public.

Over the weekends of April 13-14 and April 20-21, visitors can enjoy special information days. In season’s past, curious visitors could even embark on a horticultural tour of the planting beds given by on-site garden members.

Here is the plan - the day starts a bit cold for outdoor sketching, but it should warm up by midday, so, we'll start at midday.
