Watching the Dragon Boats

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to join the NYC Urban Sketchers for the event at the Dragon Boat Festival. I was so intrigued, that I drove out with a few friends to see the second day of festivities. 

Here's a sketch of a few people enjoying the view of the boats Meadow Lake. I started the sketch on site, and then filled out some details after I returned home to my air conditioner. 

Come Sketch at NYC Moleskine Stores

This weekend, if you're near SoHo or Columbus Circle, come join us for "City Stories" at the Moleskine Store. It will be a day of sketching, tips and demonstrations led by NYC Urban Sketchers.
