Unfortunately, I wasn't able to join the NYC Urban Sketchers for the event at the Dragon Boat Festival. I was so intrigued, that I drove out with a few friends to see the second day of festivities.
Here's a sketch of a few people enjoying the view of the boats Meadow Lake. I started the sketch on site, and then filled out some details after I returned home to my air conditioner.
Glad you were able to get out there and sketch the event. Nice job! I decided it would be too hot and involve too much moving around to get there.
