Fire Museum Sketches

Two ball-point pen sketches from the Urban Sketchers' Fire Museum outing on November 16, 2014. These beautiful old Victorian(?) fire engines were so loaded with curlicues and thing-a-ma-bobs that I nearly went cross-eyed! Organizing them certainly was a challenge. The museum is a fabulous place to visit and draw, and the people working there couldn't have been more gracious and kind.

  1. Julie, great sketches!!! I would find all those circles for the wheels overwhelming. You nailed them!

  2. Great spokes and shadows and shadows of the spokes on the tiger cart.
