Weekday Sketchers to take an Ocean Voyage!

(ok, so it's the Staten Island Ferry…but the price is right!)

Join the Weekday Urban Sketchers for a voyage across the NY Harbor and sketching in Staten Island Borough Hall.  There are wonderful sketching opportunities of the NY skyline and Statue of Liberty from the water.  The Staten Island Borough Hall with a marble entrance hall, staircases  the WPA murals painted by Frederick Charles Stahr offers a great opportunity to sketch a beautiful  public building.

DATE:  THURSDAY JANUARY 8, 2015

NOTE:  the ferry departs every half hour.  We will meet at 11:00 and then take the 11:30 ferry to Staten Island.  We will sketch in the Whitehall Terminal building until the ferry leaves.  If you are late just take the next ferry across and meet us at the Borough Hall across from the ferry terminal.  We will go for lunch about 1:30 PM.
