After some warm up sketches I decided to attack the Samurai using a pen as my weapon!
If you read Elaines' post below, we attracted a pretty large crowd. We should have set up a tip jar, after all, if the Met can charge for looking at art, shouldn't we be able to? ;^)
Thank you Elaine. I would have added some more items, but by 4:00 Joan was ready to leave. I brought my gold and silver pens with me in case I decided to sketch some heavy metal.
You crack me up, Susan. It looks great! When are we going back? We have to sketch the Egyptian hall at Night. It was amazing. We must have just missed you folks, but I was glad I got to see the Sargent Show. John loved the armor room
