This workshop will cover how to break down complex structures into easier-to-sketch bits. Participants will explore how to approach scale, shape, and detail, while playing with different techniques. Negative space, contour line drawing, and how to take artistic liberties with detail are all topics this workshop will cover. While the class is going to be completed in graphite, many tips, tricks, and concepts from the workshop can be carried over for use in other media. Suitable for all experience and skill levels.
